Not Lame Review of Debut Album

"A beautiful, personal record that reminds us of Pernice Brothers, King Radio, Gingersol, Steve Wynn and Cracker with its expansive atmospheres and highly polished arrangements . If anyone has heard Fire In The Kitchen, Conrad sounds like them on a roots-pop kick. "Richly textured jangly pop....a charming debut"- Queue Magazine. "Throws just the right amount of curve balls into its debut....this is tastefully arranged, pleasantly mellow pop with hints of twang"-Georgia Straight. "Dreamy and pleasantly subtle and will appeal to anyone who actually listens to lyrics"-Discorder. The gentle jangles and well-crafted mosaics cover each song with memorable, quiet melodies. Very Highly Recommended." [SEE ALL REVIEWS]

The 'official' release of the new disc was July 4th and the Vancouver Release Party was July 8th at The Railway Part of the success of this release is due to the animated video single 'Airstrike'. The video has already been seen by audiences across Canada as a result of MUCH MUSIC's The Wedge playing it in late May. The Wedge is an hour of the most unique, strange and thoughtful music videos from bands who actually have something to say. As well, IMVF screenings across North America (and in Tel Aviv!) from June through to October 2006 are definitely giving an added boost. Visit imvf.com for more details.
